Thank you for your order! All of our products are custom made-to-order. They are made for you when you order and may be personalized for you. If your product is damaged or has a quality issue, please let us know within 14 days of delivery and you will be able to send it back for an exchange, credit or full refund. We will always do our best to satisfy our customers.
If you changed your mind, it is the wrong size, etc, unfortunately we will not provide you a full refund for that reason. Instead, we can offer a partial refund, which will be the price you paid minus a 75% restocking fee. Customer MUST notify Virginia Outpost, LLC via email or phone call within 14 days from the date the item was delivered to the customer by the delivery agent. Refunds will be sent to customers within 7 days of Virginia Outpost, LLC receipt of the merchandise being returned. Please use tracking numbers for returns so you have a method of verification with the delivery agent if the item is not returned to Virginia Outpost, LLC in a timely manner. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs to return the product.
Refunds will only be in the manner in which the purchase was made, i.e, credit card purchase will be refunded on the same credit card. Virginia Outpost, LLC does not accept cash so refunds will not be made in cash.
All of our bath thyme products are made fresh and are not made with preservatives. Therefore, the shelf life of some of our products is 6-9 months, rather than a year or more, like those that have harmful chemicals and preservatives in them. We anticipate that since you are purchasing our products that you intend to use them. Please do not let your product sit for a year and then expect it to still be as fresh as the day your bought it.
We package our products very carefully, but shipping can sometimes cause damage. If you receive a package that has been damaged in transit, please notify us within 24 hours and save all of your shipping materials. The postal carrier will need it for inspection purposes and damage assessment. Any damaged products will be replaced.
If you receive your products and are unsatisfied with the quality (apparel printing misalignment issues, color issues, Bath Thyme cream consistency issues, etc), call us immediately or no later than 14 days to discuss the issue. If we deem it is an issue with the product quality, we will provide a return confirmation number and then you can ship the products back to us for a refund. We are not able to refund shipping charges.
Just Because/Wrong Size:
Unfortunately, due to the specialized printing for many of our apparel and other products and the sanitary cleanliness of our Bath Thyme products, we will not be able to offer a full refund just because you changed your mind. Our apparel and accessories manufacturer requires a damage or quality issue for us to receive a refund and once our Bath Thyme product is sent to our customer it cannot be resold to another customer and must be destroyed if returned. Due to the made-to-order nature of our apparel and accessories we cannot give full refunds if the reason for refund/exchange is wrong size ordered. We recommend customers refer to the size guide on applicable products prior to purchase. If the customer would like to return an item for any of these reasons, Virginia Outpost, LLC will offer a partial refund. This refund will be the cost (item/taxes/shipping) of the item minus a 75% restocking fee.
Virginia Outpost, LLC products and all their supplier provided product descriptions have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, prevent, or treat any disease. It should be known that when a product of ours or one of our suppliers is purchased, it is the consumer’s responsibility to be educated in the uses and medicinal properties of the herbs. WHEN WAS THIS POLICY LAST UPDATED?
Limited Product Availability: At this time Virginia Outpost is unable to ship bath and body products to customers outside of the United States, it’s territories, and APO/FPO addresses. This only concerns bath and body products. We apologize for this inconvenience to our international customers. All our apparel and other merchandise CAN be shipped internationally.
Value Added Tax inside and outside the European Union: All non European Union (EU) customers will not be charged VAT or taxes at checkout. Due to the numerous international tax, customs/duty, and other import rates, we have determined that it is up to the customer to pay all fees and rates for taxes and duties when their package arrives at it’s destination. Each customer should be familiar with their own VAT/GST or other sales tax rates and process. The in-country carrier will assess those fees for you at the time of delivery. No refunds will be provided for customers who do not receive their packages because they refuse to pay taxes and customs duty to their respective countries.
All EU Customers will be charged a flat 21% VAT rate at checkout for all apparel and merchandise produced in and shipped from our Latvian production facility.
We list our ingredients with our bath and body products and have done our due diligence to ensure our products are safe for shipping. Please contact your customs agents if you have any concerns about whether or not our products are eligible to come into your country. Based on much information we have read concerning customs and excise taxes, we can state that our bath and body products should never have an excise tax levied since they are not alcohol, tobacco or perfumes/fragrances. Our products are scented, but they are not fragrances.
All international customers, PLEASE be ready to pay an additional fee for your package once it arrives above the shipping fees already paid to us through our store. The fees will be a percentage cost based on the cost of the goods and the shipping costs.
While “Gifts” are usually not taxed or are taxed at a reduced tax/duty rate, we will never state that your purchase is a gift since it is coming from a business to you. In order for it to be considered a gift, it would be mailed by you to your gift recipient. Even if we were to drop ship it directly to your gift recipient, it would still be a gift from you and not Virginia Outpost.
